I can’t believe it’s been over a year since I brought my 6-year-old for acupuncture and I haven’t reviewed! Dr. Katie and Center of Bliss has been one of the best alternative therapy centers I’ve been to, and I’ve been to a few. After a very frustrating kindergarten of my son really struggling with reading and not being able to focus, I did some research and decided to try acupuncture since I don’t believe in medicating children for attention disorders. After about 5 sessions, I could tell a big difference. He was able to focus more and not having as many emotional outbursts from the frustration. Dr Katie is so extremely sweet and caring and knowledgeable and the other staff are as well. It was always a pleasure bringing my son there. She always made us both feel very comfortable. He was also prescribed some Chinese herbals that you can only get through a certified Chinese medicine practitioner. That has helped him a ton and has been taking it for a year. I would recommend anyone with any sort of physical, or even psychological, issue try acupuncture with Dr Katie. Oh and PS, my son is reading right on his grade level now and loves school, and did not need medication, as was suggested by the school administrator.  – Lauren

I can’t begin to express the appreciation and gratitude I have for Katie and The Center of Bliss. I first started seeing Katie in June of 2015, after a long road of infertility. I was dealing with endometriosis and diminished ovarian reserve. I knew I had a long road ahead of me and I realized that before starting fertility treatments, it was important to get my body and mind balanced.

I started weekly acupuncture treatments, which was something I looked forward to each week. I enjoyed the relaxation I felt during and after my treatments. I continued seeing Katie weekly as I began IUI and then IVF treatments. The fertility cycles were stressful but it truly helped each week having my acupuncture sessions and being able to talk with Katie. Every week, Katie not only took the time to listen, but she provided so much knowledge on my journey, it was truly invaluable. Not only did Katie give me advice on things I could do to help my fertility, but she gave me endless advice on adjusting my mindset and thoughts.

Although my journey wasn’t quick or easy, I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world. I am currently almost at the end of my pregnancy and am so thankful and blessed everyday for my miracle twins!

I have taken my son to Katie Edwards for acupuncture to treat asthma and allergies. It was very effective. My son has had no asthma issues since treatments. My husband and I had been trying to get pregnant on our own for almost 2 years. Katie Edwards, The Center of Bliss, is helping me with side effects from targeted & chemo therapy treatments for breast cancer. With my first round of targeted/chemo therapy, my side effects were so severe, simply getting out of bed and moving was a challenge. Before my second round of targeted/chemo therapy, I began a series acupuncture treatments at the Center of Bliss. For my subsequent targeted/chemo treatments, my side effects improved more than 75%. My acupuncture treatments helped me manage the side effects so that I can enjoy a nice quality of life as I continue my breast cancer treatment plan. Now, I am more than halfway through my western medicine treatment plan and I am enjoying my daily activities with my children, practicing yoga and accomplishing household tasks. I’ll start out by saying, acupuncture is great and it has changed my life! I’m so thankful I found Katie and The Center of Bliss. I started seeing Katie because I was suffering from acne. Not just the typical acne, but also cystic acne. It was painful, and not very pretty! I learned about acupuncture during my research on acne; the causes, natural treatments, etc. I also learned that I may have a hormonal imbalance, and that could be causing the painful, cystic acne. Acupuncture can help rebalance hormones. So I decided to give it a try, and I am so glad I did! It’s been about 5 months since I began treatment, and I can say the cystic acne is a thing of the past and has been for about 14 weeks!! My skin is almost cleared up completely from the other acne too. Not only do I have clearer skin, I also no longer experience the typical PMS symptoms that most women experience. I almost look forward to that time of month now because I know it’s not going to be the horrible experience I’ve always had! Thank you so much Katie for your help, knowledge, and experience.
